HE SLEEPS A KINGLY SLEEP

 

Oh prince of peace

Humbly lain on hay

Born to the world

On this special day

 

Shepherds, beasts

And kings of earth

Pay homage

At the saviours birth

 

While the Christ child

With angelic face

Sleeps a kingly sleep

In this humble place
