Beltane, on May 1st

Is one of the four

Gaelic seasonal festivals

Beltane marks

The beginning of summer

And the end spring.

Celebrated with feasting,

The decorating of homes

With May flowers,

Visiting the holy wells

And the lighting of bonfires
