The lion and the calf

Shall lie down together

But the calf will not

Get much sleep however

GOD SAT UPON HIS THRONE

 

God sat upon his throne

In the presence of the chosen

All was well in paradise

It was a special day in heaven

There was a quiet mutter abroad

And the flutter of Angels wings

Before a silent hush descended

And the heavenly chorus sings

WALK WITH GOD ALONG THE PATH OF LIFE

 

Walk with God along the path of life

When a spring is in your step

And at times when you must trudge

He will be your companion

So, feel the blood of life course

And feel his love course with it

With every beat of your heart

As you walk with God

OUT OF THE MOUTH’S OF BABES – PRAYER

Megan a little four-year-old was heard praying

Well, it was the Lord’s prayer that she was saying

And she said “And forgive us our trash baskets

As we forgive those who put trash in our baskets”

 

THE CHARGE OF THE DARK BRIGADE

 

The scroll of the seven seals

Rested in God's right hand

Until he bade his son

The Lion of Judah

To break the first seal

And the Lamb did so

And from the broken seal

Appeared a white horse

Bearing the conqueror

Carrying a bow,

And wearing a victor's crown

 

God then bade his son

The Lion of Judah

To break the second seal

And the Lamb did so

And from the broken seal

Appeared a red horse

Bearing the warrior

Carrying a sword

And wielding the power

To take peace from the world

 

God then bade his son

The Lion of Judah

To break the third seal

And the Lamb did so

And from the broken seal

Appeared a black horse

Bearing the bringer of famine

Carrying a set of scales

         

Finally, he bade his son

The Lion of Judah

To break the fourth seal

And the Lamb did so

And from the broken seal

Appeared a pale horse

Bearing a rider called death

LOVE OF GOD

Our God above loves us

So, we worship and adore him

His love sustains us all

OUT OF THE MOUTH’S OF BABES - CHILDISH GRACE

Catherine was having a dinner and some friends were invited

At the table, she turned to her six-year-old daughter and said

“Would you say grace?” “I don't know what to say,” she replied 

“Just say what you hear Mummy say,” the husband then plied 

The girl bowed her head and said thinking she was on a winner

“Oh Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?”
