THE BORN AGAIN GOD

Kneeling before the cross,

A simple sign of faith

A potent symbol of his love

A symbol whose holy shadow

Casts the light of love across the world

I am in the presence of the Lord

I feel His hand on my shoulder

His love in my heart

I find I am at peace

In the presence of the lord

I feel His reassuring presence

The Son of God

The Prince of Peace

Who died upon the cross

Who died on a hill in Calvary

And was born again

I feel the power of His glory

I feel at peace

I feel his Godliness

His Goodliness

He surrounds me with his love

And he comforts me

Making the world a less savage place

CS LEWIS CAME TO GOD

CS Lewis came to God

The long way round

But because of this

His faith was sound

And he knew the truth,

He called Christ’s birth

The central event

In the history of the earth

THE FOURTEEN HOLY HELPERS – PANTELEON

The Fourteen Holy Helpers are a group of saints venerated together in Roman Catholicism because their intercession was believed to be particularly effective against various diseases.

This group of "helpers in need" originated in 14th century Rhineland, due largely as a result of the epidemic that grew to become the Black Death, but their veneration spread almost as quickly as the plague.

Saint Pantaleon was a martyr of Nicomedia in Bithynia during the Diocletian persecution of 303 AD.

He is the patron saint of Physicians and protects against cancer and tuberculosis and is celebrated on July 27th.

DEAR LORD

As to the lord God he was praying

A little boy was overheard saying

By his auntie Irene and Uncle Roy

“If you can’t make me a better boy

Please don't worry about it then

I'm having a good time as I Am." amen

THE FOURTEEN HOLY HELPERS - MARGARET THE VIRGIN

The Fourteen Holy Helpers are a group of saints venerated together in Roman Catholicism because their intercession was believed to be particularly effective against various diseases.

This group of "helpers in need" originated in 14th century Rhineland, due largely as a result of the epidemic that grew to become the Black Death, but their veneration spread almost as quickly as the plague.

Margaret the Virgin, also known as Margaret of Antioch,

Margaret the virgin martyr, is widely celebrated as a saint.

Having embraced Christianity as a young woman she pledged her virginity to God, this caused her pagan father to disown her.

A few years later the Roman Governor asked her to marry him but if she accepted, she would have to renounce Christianity but when she refused, he had her cruelly tortured before having her put to death.

Her patronage protects during childbirth and aids the escape from devils, and she is commemorated on July 20th.
